Some findings will not apply to your video. Close those as dismissed, not as resolved — the reason you pick is what teaches the checks to stop crying wolf.
Dismiss a finding that should not be there
- Open the finding in the timeline.
- Click the dismiss action — “Dismiss: the AI got it wrong or it is not relevant”.
- Pick the reason:
- Not a problem — the AI got it wrong: this is not an issue.
- Irrelevant — real, but it does not matter in this video.
The item is marked Dismissed and drops out of the working list.
Pick the reason honestly. Not a problem counts as a false positive for that category of check; Irrelevant does not. That is the difference between a report that gets sharper and one that stays noisy.
Note: Only open findings can be dismissed. Anything already resolved or dismissed keeps the outcome it has.
Low confidence, low position
Findings the AI is not confident about never reach the main list. They sit collapsed at the bottom under N low-confidence checks. That is deliberate: a short report people read beats a complete report people skip.
See how the checks are doing
Workspace Settings → AI Review grades the reviews your own workspace has run: how many findings led to an actual fix, the false-positive rate across what your reviewers judged, and a breakdown per category. Those numbers only exist because people dismiss findings honestly.
Teach a client’s preferences
Recurring notes from one client — “never use that transition”, “the logo goes in the first three seconds” — can become standing rules the AI checks on every new video for that client.
- Open the client and go to the IA tab.
- Use Extract from history to distil the rules from the client’s past review comments, or type one in and click Add.
- Confirm the rules that are right; delete the ones that are not.
Violations arrive in the report titled “Client preference: …”, with a timecode like any other finding.
Warning: Rules are applied per client. A preference you add here changes the reports of that client’s videos only.
