Better navigation menus and light theme visibility

You can now dismiss navigation menus using your keyboard without them reopening automatically. We also updated the light theme to make your current workspace and profile options easier to read.

Manage clients and projects from the header

Switch between projects or search for clients directly from the header while reviewing videos or editing plans. Admins can also create new projects and access settings without leaving the page.

AI Review now detects framing issues

AI Review now identifies if a presenter is cut off, squeezed, or out of position. These alerts appear as issues, helping you catch framing errors.

Improved fullscreen video player

Fullscreen mode now displays only the video using native browser controls. Subtitles and annotations stay aligned, and version comparisons show only the videos without extra bars.

Dashboard and performance improvements

Your dashboard and task lists are more responsive when tracking time or browsing large projects. We optimized background tasks to keep the app light while you work.

Improved version visibility in the client portal

Clients will now see and open versions you have shared or delivered. This prevents them from seeing internal drafts or encountering errors when trying to view work.

Refined login experience

You can now see your last used sign-in method and use a dedicated screen for email login. The layout is more compact to fit better on the screen, and phone screens no longer zoom in automatically when you tap to type.

Presence-based push notifications

You now receive push notifications on your devices when you are not active, avoiding redundant alerts while you are active in the app.

Record audio, video, and screen in replies

You can now use your camera, microphone, or screen sharing to respond to feedback. The same recording tools from your main comments are now available when you reply to a thread.

Button interactions on macOS

Buttons in the Mac app are now integrated with your system. You will notice highlights when you hover over icons and animations.

Replies and reactions in comments

Follow conversations with chronological replies, profile avatars, and emoji reactions. You can now add attachments to responses, mark them as internal for the team, and see readable dates.

Redesigned login for web and iOS

Access your workspace through a refreshed login screen. The new layout is optimized for password managers and makes it easier to switch between logging in and creating an account.

Refined iOS navigation and review layout

Your iOS app now has a more compact header and filter menus that match the desktop. The review screen is also cleaner, with easier-to-read notifications and a clearer view of who made each decision.

Attach files up to 2 GB to comments

Share reference videos, project files, fonts and documents right in the conversation, and pasted links show a preview. Attachments count toward your workspace storage.

Native menus and automatic reconnection on iPhone

Menus and pickers now open like the iPhone's own, and windows slide up as floating sheets. If your connection drops, the app comes back on its own as soon as you're online again.

Refined iOS app navigation and layout

The iOS app now uses system navigation bars for a native experience. We've also optimized the review screen footer for mobile devices and ensured avatars are circular.

Improved Premiere panel and more install options

You can now install the extension via Creative Cloud or download it directly from your settings. Inside the panel, your projects follow the same organization as your dashboard, with smarter sequence detection.

Review videos directly inside Adobe Premiere. Sync your timeline with comments, import markers, reply to feedback, and send new versions to your workspace.

More accurate AI summaries and subtitles

Your subtitles and summaries for scripts and comment threads are now more accurate. We also fixed a bug that prevented some comment summaries from appearing correctly.

Subscribe with Pix

Workspaces in Brazil can now use Pix for recurring subscription payments and add-ons. Choose Pix during checkout to enable automatic renewals for your monthly or yearly plans.

New team metrics and daily activity views

Monitor your team's daily journey with a detailed timeline of recordings and actions. Track hours by client or project more accurately and view all metrics in your local time zone.

Improved navigation on older versions

When you view an older version of a video, a more subtle notice directs you to the latest version. You can go to the current version to leave comments or compare it with the version you are watching.

Improved version history and viewer tracking

See who viewed each version of your video and when. Clients now see a clearer label for internal versions you haven't shared yet, preventing confusion over locked files or missing comments.

Start the AI Review after uploading

You can now request an AI Review for videos directly from the comments tab. This allows you to analyze files that were not processed during upload or retry the analysis if an error occurs.

Record client decisions from internal review

Log client approvals or change requests directly from your internal review screen. This keeps your workflow moving and triggers delivery automations even when decisions happen over a call or chat.

More reliable on-screen text reviews

AI Review is now more accurate when identifying text errors on screen. This update reduces false reports by cross-referencing what is visible in the video with the detected issues.

Edit subtitles directly in the player

Click a subtitle in the player to edit its text. The player pauses while you type and includes a character counter, and your manual edits are protected and won't be overwritten when the transcription changes.

Generate professional subtitles for your videos automatically. You can now toggle captions directly in the player using the new button or keyboard shortcut, and export your work in SRT or VTT formats that follow industry standards.

More precise technical and script error detection

AI Review now catches short glitches like flashes, audio pops, and digital clipping. It also identifies when a video ends before the script is finished and provides more accurate timestamps for findings.

More accurate video transcriptions

Your video transcripts are now more precise, especially when identifying technical terms, acronyms, and industry jargon. The timing of each word also aligns better with your footage.

More accurate text detection in your videos

Your automated reviews are now more precise. The AI identifies typos while avoiding misreadings.

Delivery notifications and automation links

Delivery notification emails are now sent only to people who have permission to download the final files. We also updated links used in automated workflows to allow access to approved videos.

We improved the progress bar to ensure the status does not regress while your videos are being analyzed.

Guided tours and trial checklists

Navigate the review screen using new guided tours tailored to your role. For workspaces in trial, a new checklist on the Home screen helps you track your setup progress.

Privacy updates and account deletion

You can now delete your account directly even if you use a Google, Apple, or Microsoft login. We have also updated our terms and added a cookie banner so you can manage your privacy preferences.

Your next review step in a single button

On videos and galleries, one button now shows the main action, like “Request 2 changes”. Clients get a share button to invite people by email, see who has access and copy the link.

AI checks the previous version's requests

On a new version, the discussion shows how many requests weren't done and opens the side-by-side comparison, where each old comment is marked done, partial or not done. You're warned before sending pending items to the client.

AI Review results arrive sooner

The issues AI finds now show up as soon as the main analysis finishes and keep being refined on screen, no reload needed. New versions of the same video take less time, since the script check focuses on what changed.

Seamless transitions in comparison mode

Switch between single view and comparison mode without losing your place. The player now preserves the frame and timecode, eliminating black flashes.

Review status and comparison shortcut

See who approved or requested changes, with the version and date, right above the video. A “Compare with previous version” button opens both versions side by side.

Your video reviews are more accurate with a new engine that finds the exact moment text errors occur. This update also improves flash frame detection and speeds up script analysis for long videos.

Personalize your profile in the portal

You now see visual indicators when your profile is missing a name or photo. These help you personalize your profile so others can identify your comments and approvals.

Task drawer improvements and cleaner status chips

The task drawer now features clearer delivery projections, automatic time estimates, and improved file uploads. You can also copy codes with a single click, and status chips across the platform now have a cleaner, borderless design.

Redesigned Workspace Settings

Manage your team, workflow, and production with a consolidated sidebar and theme-aware interface. You can now customize your client portal settings in one place, set member working hours, and fetch your logo from your domain.

RecReview automatically finds your company logo and suggests your domain based on your business email.

Microsoft login and OneDrive script integration

You can now sign in with your Microsoft account and attach scripts directly from OneDrive or SharePoint. Scripts update automatically when the source file changes, ensuring you work with the latest version during production.

Internal review tasks now appear on your Home

See videos waiting for your internal review directly on your dashboard. Managers can find these tasks in the Needs Attention section, and editors see them at the top of their task list.

Batch video delivery emails

Your clients now receive multiple video deliveries grouped into emails instead of individual messages. Each digest includes thumbnails and direct links.

Updated plan editor and recordings interface

Manage your production plans with a standardized interface featuring functional breadcrumbs and cards. Access global actions from the header and navigate between clients and projects.

You can now mention people or the group in comments. We also updated the notification center to include video deliveries, photo galleries, and team comments.

You can now see when your clients encounter issues logging into the portal. Information about failed login attempts, such as expired or invalid codes, is now recorded in the contact activity timeline.

You can now see the exact reasons why certain videos are skipped during processing, such as archived or missing files. New filename filters also help you target specific content.

You can now run RecReview natively on Macs with Intel or Apple Silicon chips. This version also introduces automatic updates, ensuring you have the latest features without manual reinstalls.

New dashboard filters and layout updates

Filter tasks by upload date, overdue tasks, or video availability. The dashboard uses a four-column layout and offers updated mobile controls.

Create a whole list of tasks at once

In the New Task modal, paste up to 100 titles — one per line — and RecReview creates them all, with the client, project, assignees, deadlines, status and phase you pick applied to every one. Spreadsheet imports no longer swap day and month in deadlines.

Your clients get the portal in their own language

The client portal now speaks each contact's language — login screen, notifications and email digests included. It also marks what a client hasn't opened yet, and a second version opens with a summary of what changed.

⌘K now finds what was said on camera

Press ⌘K on any screen to search tasks, videos, clients, projects, production plans, recording times and people at once — and now the spoken content of your videos too.

System notifications work in the Mac app

The notifications tab now has a row of its own for the desktop app, with a test button and a shortcut to your system settings, instead of a switch that could never be turned on. Native banners also show which video they're about.

Task lists now carry a fraction of the data they used to, so opening the dashboard and switching views is noticeably quicker — especially on projects with many versions.

The Mac app runs smoother

Fixed the micro-stutters during long sessions and the high CPU use that kept the Dock icon busy. Windows left open for hours also keep their live connection instead of quietly going stale.

The dashboard now orders tasks by what's actually due first, and the SLA shift moves only the internal date — the deadline your client sees stays exactly where you set it.

AI Review learns each client's preferences

RecReview now remembers the notes a client keeps repeating and feeds them into the next analysis — so the review starts from what that client always asks for, instead of from zero.
