You now see visual indicators when your profile is missing a name or photo. These help you personalize your profile so others can identify your comments and approvals.

Task drawer improvements and cleaner status chips

The task drawer now features clearer delivery projections, automatic time estimates, and improved file uploads. You can also copy codes with a single click, and status chips across the platform now have a cleaner, borderless design.

Stability improvements for settings and production plans

We fixed issues that could prevent you from saving new phases or blockers. You will also see more precise error messages when managing production plans, pointing you directly to the items that need attention.

Redesigned Workspace Settings

Manage your team, workflow, and production with a consolidated sidebar and theme-aware interface. You can now customize your client portal settings in one place, set member working hours, and fetch your logo from your domain.

Automatic workspace logo setup

RecReview automatically finds your company logo and suggests your domain based on your business email.

Microsoft login and OneDrive script integration

You can now sign in with your Microsoft account and attach scripts directly from OneDrive or SharePoint. Scripts update automatically when the source file changes, ensuring you work with the latest version during production.

Internal review tasks now appear on your Home

See videos waiting for your internal review directly on your dashboard. Managers can find these tasks in the Needs Attention section, and editors see them at the top of their task list.

Batch video delivery emails

Your clients now receive multiple video deliveries grouped into emails instead of individual messages. Each digest includes thumbnails and direct links.

Updated plan editor and recordings interface

Manage your production plans with a standardized interface featuring functional breadcrumbs and cards. Access global actions from the header and navigate between clients and projects.

Navigation buttons in the Mac app

You can now navigate through your history using new back and forward buttons in the header. This update also adds support for keyboard shortcuts, smoother screen transitions, and more reliable clicks in menus and the task drawer.

Mentioning users in comments and notifications

You can now mention people or the group in comments. We also updated the notification center to include video deliveries, photo galleries, and team comments.

Video review navigation

Your next video shortcut now follows the filters and sorting you set on the dashboard. You can also track your progress with a new indicator showing your position in the queue.

Visibility into client login attempts

You can now see when your clients encounter issues logging into the portal. Information about failed login attempts, such as expired or invalid codes, is now recorded in the contact activity timeline.

More visibility into client portal activity

You can now see when clients log in, switch tabs, export spreadsheets, or view scripts and galleries. The activity timeline also correctly distinguishes between portal visits and video share links.

An agenda for your recordings

Your recordings are now organized with upcoming shoots appearing first. The new mobile layout and detailed calendar cards make it easier to track filming dates, locations, and media.

Improved teleprompter controls and host messaging

You can now send real-time notices to the host during recording and enjoy more reliable script synchronization. Managing the remote teleprompter screen is also easier with improved window focus and fixed timer interactions.

You can now view recording times, locations, and production notes directly within the task drawer. This makes it easier to check call times and specific plan instructions without leaving your current view.

Delete production plans

You can now remove production plans directly from your dashboard or within the editor. Use the new options menu on plan cards or the editor header.

New Mac app, photo galleries, and deadlines

Install the native Mac app for watch folders and notifications, and use galleries for photo approvals. You can now search across video transcripts and set deadlines that pause while waiting for feedback.

Support for multiple windows on macOS

Open multiple windows in the Mac app. Use standard shortcuts like Command+N or Command-click to browse and organize them through the native Window menu.

Light mode support for access screens

Login, password, and identification screens now adapt to light mode. We have optimized the contrast and visual elements to ensure a legible experience regardless of the theme settings.

New board view, recording calendar, and metrics

Follow your deliveries through stages with the new board view and stay on top of the schedule with a recordings calendar. A new metrics tab provides insights into production volume, while a section shows work in progress.

Redesigned access screens and improved privacy

You’ll now see a more consistent look when logging in or entering passwords. We’ve also improved privacy by ensuring file names and project details stay hidden until you’ve successfully identified yourself.

You can now access your full account menu directly from video reviews and galleries. Manage your identity and settings, adjust your theme, or sign out while keeping workspace tools hidden.

Precise technical checks and AI quality dashboard

Review your videos with technical checks for audio, video, and spelling defects. You can now dismiss irrelevant alerts directly on the timeline and track AI performance through a dashboard in your settings.

Native glass effects for macOS controls

Interface elements such as the header, timer, and filters now use native macOS translucency.

Update alerts for older macOS app versions

If you are using an older version of the Mac app that cannot restart itself to update, a notice now appears at the bottom of your screen to help you apply improvements.

Reliability improvements and flexible windows

Your connection now automatically restores when your computer wakes up, and a status alert warns you if the feed stays offline. You can also shrink the app window to work side-by-side with other tools.

Desktop update notifications

You now see a banner when a desktop update finishes downloading, so you can restart the app and apply the new version.

Deadline tracking and dashboard navigation

View tasks waiting for client feedback directly in your Needs Attention list and receive push notifications for deadline risks. Use quick actions to send reminders or renegociate dates and browse the list with infinite scrolling.

Better processing visibility and filename filters

You can now see the exact reasons why certain videos are skipped during processing, such as archived or missing files. New filename filters also help you target specific content.

Signed Mac release and automatic updates

You can now run RecReview natively on Macs with Intel or Apple Silicon chips. This version also introduces automatic updates, ensuring you have the latest features without manual reinstalls.

New dashboard filters and layout updates

Filter tasks by upload date, overdue tasks, or video availability. The dashboard uses a four-column layout and offers updated mobile controls.

Create a whole list of tasks at once

In the New Task modal, paste up to 100 titles — one per line — and RecReview creates them all, with the client, project, assignees, deadlines, status and phase you pick applied to every one. Spreadsheet imports no longer swap day and month in deadlines.

Your clients get the portal in their own language

The client portal now speaks each contact's language — login screen, notifications and email digests included. It also marks what a client hasn't opened yet, and a second version opens with a summary of what changed.

⌘K now finds what was said on camera

Press ⌘K on any screen to search tasks, videos, clients, projects, production plans, recording times and people at once — and now the spoken content of your videos too.

• Search what was said in a video and jump straight to that moment
• Word order and accents don't matter — "joao video" finds "Vídeo do João"
• Results grouped by section, with your recent items ready before you type

System notifications work in the Mac app

The notifications tab now has a row of its own for the desktop app, with a test button and a shortcut to your system settings, instead of a switch that could never be turned on. Native banners also show which video they're about.

The dashboard loads lighter

Task lists now carry a fraction of the data they used to, so opening the dashboard and switching views is noticeably quicker — especially on projects with many versions.

The Mac app runs smoother

Fixed the micro-stutters during long sessions and the high CPU use that kept the Dock icon busy. Windows left open for hours also keep their live connection instead of quietly going stale.

Deadlines sort the way you'd expect

The dashboard now orders tasks by what's actually due first, and the SLA shift moves only the internal date — the deadline your client sees stays exactly where you set it.

The AI review learns each client's preferences

RecReview now remembers the notes a client keeps repeating and feeds them into the next analysis — so the review starts from what that client always asks for, instead of from zero.
