If the link opens on Sign in to the portal, the studio chose the mode that ties every comment and approval to a name. There is no password, and no account to create.
Sign in with an email code
- Type your address in Email and click Continue with Email.
- The screen changes to Check your email. Open your inbox.
- Type the 6 digits and click Verify.
That is it — the portal opens.
Tip: If more than one email arrived, use the most recent one. Asking for a new code cancels the one before it, so an older code will be rejected even if it looks fine.
You can paste the whole code into the first box and it fills all six. On a phone, your keyboard usually offers the code above it as soon as the message arrives.
Sign in with Google or Microsoft
Where the studio has them enabled, Continue with Google and Continue with Microsoft skip the code entirely — your provider has already confirmed the address. Neither creates a RecReview account or costs you anything.
If you cannot get in
- No contact found for this email in this portal — the address is not on the studio’s list. Reply to whoever sent you the link and ask them to add it.
- Access restricted to @domain emails — use your work address rather than a personal one.
- The code never arrives — check spam and promotions first, then ask for it again. More in Email not arriving.
Once you are in
Click your avatar in the top-right corner and open My profile to add your name and photo, pick your language, and choose which emails you want. The team sees that name next to your comments, which beats a set of grey initials.
