The emails you get from the portal

Client portalUpdated September 2, 20262 min read

Everything the portal sends you is either an access code, something new to look at, or an answer to something you wrote. Nothing is marketing.

Your sign-in code

Subject: 123456 — your verification code, with the code in the subject line so you can read it without opening the email.

Type the six digits into the portal. Asking for a new code cancels the previous one, so always use the most recent email.

You were added to a portal

Subject: You’ve been added to …'s portal. This is your invitation. It carries the link — keep it, because that same address is your portal from now on.

Something new to review

Subject: Video ready for review: … when it is one item, or 3 videos ready for review when several arrived together.

Open the link, watch, comment and give your verdict. Replying to this email does not reach the review — the studio only sees what you send from the page.

Approved

Subject: Approved: …, sent when a version is signed off. It carries the download link for the final file.

Replies and mentions

When someone answers your comment or mentions your name, that email comes to you personally, whether or not you are the main contact for your company.

Choosing what you receive

In the portal, open the avatar menu → My profileNotifications, and toggle New deliveries or Comments and mentions. Turning a category off stops the email and the in-portal alert for it.

Nothing is arriving

  1. Check spam, and the Promotions tab if you use Gmail.
  2. Search your mailbox for the studio’s name — brand emails sometimes land in a filtered folder.
  3. Ask again from the portal, or ask the studio to confirm which address they have for you.
  4. Still nothing? See Email not arriving.

What’s next

Frequently asked questions

I got one email listing five videos. Is that right?
Yes. Deliveries that land close together are grouped into one email so your inbox does not fill up. Everything is listed in the portal too.
Can I get these in my own language?
Yes. Open My profile in the portal and set Language. The emails from this studio then arrive in that language.
