Right after you sign up, RecReview runs a short setup and creates your first workspace — the place that holds your clients, projects, videos, team and billing. It takes about two minutes, and every answer can be changed later in Settings.
Steps
- Profile & Preferences — enter your First Name and Last Name, pick your Language and Theme, and add a photo if you want one.
- Set up your workspace — type a Workspace Name, usually your studio’s name.
- Add a logo: click the avatar to upload an image (PNG, JPG, SVG or GIF, up to 5 MB).
- Or type your domain in the field (
yourcompany.com) and click Fetch logo to pull it from the web. Signed up with a work email? The domain is already filled in and the logo is already fetched. - Invite your team — add up to five emails at once and pick a role for each, or click Skip for now.
- Choose your workflow — pick a preset and click Finish.
You land on the dashboard, with the workspace ready to use.
Workflow presets
The preset decides which automations your workspace starts with. You can edit or delete any of them later in Workspace Settings → Automations.
| Preset | What it sets up |
|---|---|
| Video Production | Auto subtasks, internal and client review, delivery emails |
| Agency | Briefing, creation, simplified approval flow |
| Basic Automations | Timer moves tasks, blockers update review |
| Configure Manually | No automations |
Tip: Not sure? Pick Basic Automations. Adding automations later is easier than untangling ones you did not ask for.
The example client
Your new workspace arrives with one example client already in it: a project with tasks on the board, a video with versions and comments, and a production plan. It is there so the dashboard shows you what a real week looks like instead of an empty screen. Delete that client whenever you want — it does not count against your storage.
