RecReview’s interface is available in English and Portuguese. Language belongs to your account, not to the workspace, so changing yours does not change anyone else’s.
Change your language
- Click your avatar, top right, and choose Settings.
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Under Language, pick English or Portuguese.
The interface switches immediately — nothing to save, no reload. You can also set it during onboarding, in the Profile & Preferences step.
What follows your language
- The whole app interface, including menus, buttons and empty states.
- Notification emails RecReview sends you.
- The date and number formats used across views.
- AI review reports for videos you upload — issues and summaries are written in your language.
What does not
- Content people typed: task titles, comments, client and project names stay exactly as written.
- Your clients’ language. Portal contacts have their own language, and emails to a client go out in the language set on that contact — not yours. See client portal overview.
A bilingual team therefore works in one workspace with each person reading it their way. Someone you invite picks their own language during onboarding and can change it later on this same screen — you cannot set it for them.
Tip: The RecReview site and this help centre have their own language switch in the header, independent of the app.
