Put your logo on the client portal

Updated September 2, 20261 min read

The portal header carries two logos: your workspace and the client it belongs to. Upload both before you send the first link — that is the whole of portal branding.

  1. In the app header, open the client dropdown and click Manage, then the client’s name.
  2. On the first tab, click the logo thumbnail next to the client’s name and pick an image. The maximum size is 5 MB.
  3. To swap or drop it later, use Change or Remove under the thumbnail.

If you don’t have the file, fill in Website Domain and click Fetch from domain. RecReview looks the logo up and offers it, showing where it found it.

A client with no logo shows a lettered avatar built from their name, so the portal never looks broken while you wait for the file.

  1. Open the avatar menu and click Workspace Settings.
  2. Go to General.
  3. Upload the workspace logo, or type your domain and click Fetch logo.

This is the logo your clients read as “who is delivering”. It also appears on the delivery and approval emails they receive, so set it properly before the first client link goes out.

What clients see

  • Header: workspace logo, client logo and the client’s name.
  • Client switcher: a contact who belongs to more than one client sees each with its own logo.
  • Footer: Powered by RecReview.

Note: The portal always lives on a rec.review address. Custom domains, custom colors and hiding the RecReview credit are not available on any plan.

What’s next

Finish the setup in Set up the client portal.

Frequently asked questions

Can I remove 'Powered by RecReview'?
No. The portal footer always credits RecReview, on every plan. There is no white-label mode and no custom portal domain.
The logo did not change after I uploaded it.
Reload the portal page. The browser can hold on to the old image for a moment.
