A delivery waiting on you shows Awaiting your review. Answer it from the review page, not by replying to the email — that is the only route the team sees.
Send feedback
- Open the delivery from the portal — from Awaiting your review on Home, or from Deliveries.
- Watch the cut. Add time-coded comments for anything specific.
- Click Your Feedback at the bottom of the player.
- Choose Approve or Request changes.
After Approve you get a confirmation with Download final video, and a download link by email. After Request changes the screen confirms that the team will be notified.
Tip: Request changes is the verdict, not the feedback. Leave the details as time-coded comments first, so the editor knows exactly what to fix and where.
The four review states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No status | Not sent to the client yet |
| Awaiting your review | Sent, waiting on the client |
| Approved | Client approved this version |
| Changes requested | Client asked for adjustments |
The state belongs to the version, so a new version starts the cycle again. The portal shows who answered and when.
Who can approve
By default, any registered contact of the client can approve and download.
When the workspace turns on Use contact roles (gestor/revisor) in Workspace Settings → Client portal, only Manager contacts approve and download the final delivery. Reviewer contacts comment and request changes.
Someone who is not a registered contact — an identified visitor on a shared link — can comment, but never approves or downloads the final.
What happens on the team side
- The task’s review status changes, and the change is recorded in the task’s activity log.
- On Approve, the client blocker is removed automatically, so the card stops waiting on the client.
- Any automation set to the Review status changed trigger runs.
- Approval also produces the delivery email and the download link.
