Your account is identified by your email address. Whichever method you use, you land in the same account and the same workspaces.
Email and password
On the sign-in page, enter your Work email and Password and press Sign in.
Passwords need at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number. The strength meter under the field updates as you type.
Remember me keeps you signed in on that browser.
When you create an account you also complete a short security check, and RecReview emails you a verification link — see verify your email.
Google, Microsoft and Apple
Under Or continue with on the sign-in page you find the buttons available: Google, Microsoft and Apple.
One click signs you in. There is no separate password to remember, and no separate account: signing in with Google using the address of an existing account takes you to that account.
Tip: Use your work email rather than a personal one. Team features, the shared workspace and invites all run on the address your colleagues already know.
Which method is my account using
- Click your avatar at the top right and choose Settings.
- Open the Account tab and look under Security.
You see either Change password, or a row saying Google Login, Microsoft Login or Apple Login, with a Manage link to their own security settings.
If your account signs in with one of those buttons and you want a password as well, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page to set one.
Signing in from the Mac app
The Mac app opens your normal browser to sign you in, then brings you back into the app already signed in. Google and Apple require a real browser window, which is why the app takes that detour.
Clients do not sign in like this
Portal contacts and reviewers use magic links instead of passwords. See magic links and client sign-in.
