Verify your email

Updated September 2, 20262 min read

When you create an account with an email and password, RecReview sends a verification link to that address. Clicking it activates the account. Until then, you cannot sign in.

Verify

  1. Open the email and click the link.
  2. The page confirms Email verified! and your account is active.
  3. Press Go to Dashboard — or Continue to invite, if you got here from a workspace invitation.

The link expires in 24 hours.

Right after you create the account, the screen offers Resend verification email.

If you already closed it, try to sign in. RecReview takes you to the Verify your email screen with your address filled in, and Resend verification email is there.

A link that says it is invalid or expired has the same fix: request a new one.

Where to look if it did not arrive

  • The spam or promotions folder.
  • The exact address you typed. A typo in the domain is the most common cause.
  • Your company’s mail filter, if you are on a corporate domain.

See an email from RecReview isn’t arriving if none of that works.

If you were invited to a workspace

Accepting an invitation and verifying your email are two different things. Verify first: the confirmation page then offers Continue to invite, which takes you straight to the workspace that invited you.

If you clicked the invitation link before verifying and it stalled, verify and open the invitation link again. The invitation email says how long it is good for.

Already verified

The Account tab of your settings shows a Verified badge next to your email address.

Accounts created through Google, Microsoft or Apple arrive verified. Those companies already confirmed the address, so there is no email to click.

Note: Verification is about your address, not your subscription. It has no effect on your plan, trial or billing.
