Some notes are faster to draw than to describe. The comment box has a drawing layer that sits on top of the paused frame, and whatever you draw is saved with the comment.
Steps
- Pause on the frame you want to mark.
- Click Draw in the comment box. The video pauses and the tools strip opens.
- Pick a tool: Pen, Arrow, Rectangle or Circle.
- Pick a colour — red, green, blue, yellow or white.
- Draw on the frame. Undo removes the last stroke.
- Type the note that goes with the drawing and click Send.
Once you have drawn something, the comment box shows a Drawing chip. Click Remove drawing on that chip if you want to start over.
Reading a drawing later
In the comment list, a comment with a drawing carries a small preview of the strokes, labelled Click to show annotation. Clicking it puts the drawing back over the video; clicking again (Click to hide) takes it off. The same toggle sits on the comment itself as Show drawing / Hide drawing.
The frame underneath is untouched — annotations are stored with the comment, never burned into the video. Nothing you draw changes the file your editor gets back.
Note: A drawing belongs to one comment at one timecode. To mark a second frame, leave a second comment.
