A note that says “use the approved logo” travels better with the logo attached. Comments carry up to three files each.
Steps
- Click the comment box to start a comment.
- Click the paperclip (Attach) and pick the files — or drag them from your desktop straight onto the comment box, which shows Drop to attach.
- Wait for the upload to finish. Attached files appear as chips above the text field.
- Write the note and click Send.
Where the files show up
The attachments appear under the published comment as small chips with the file name; hovering one shows its size. Anyone who can see the comment can click a chip to open the file in a new tab — the client included, when the comment is public.
Limits
- 3 files per comment.
- 50 MB per file.
- Accepted types: JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP images; PDF; plain text; Word documents (
.doc,.docx); ZIP archives.
Anything else is rejected before the upload starts, and a fourth file triggers an “attachment limit reached” message.
Note: Attachments follow the visibility of the comment they are on. Put a file on a team-only note and the client never sees it.
What’s next
For big files — a full cut, a graphics package — upload a new version instead: Versions and comparison.
